The Sheffield Advocacy Hub provides Care Act Advocacy, NHS Complaints Advocacy, Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy and Deprivation of Living Safeguards Relevant Person's Representative and advocacy for parents with substantial difficulties involved in Child Protection procedures and proceedings. In addition, generic advocacy is provided for d/Deaf people and people with Learning Disabilities.
Citizens Advice Sheffield Advocacy Services also provide independent mental health advocacy support to over 16s using mental health services in Sheffield, including Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA) for most people subject to the Mental Health Act and advocacy support for inpatients of the Becton Centre (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service) and their families.
