There is 24 hour access to NHS health services for both children and adults through dialling 111, with Mental Health services under Option 2. The phone will be answered by a call handler with mental health training who will be able to listen to your concerns and help you get the support you need. They can offer advice over the phone, put you in contact with crisis services or refer you to the urgent and crisis team who will, where appropriate, arrange a crisis assessment and intervention after no more than 72 hours.
Sheffield Support Hub in the city centre offers free mental health support to persons aged 16 and above situated at 44 Bank Street, Sheffield, S1 2DS and can be contacted by telephone: 07890 987 384 for appointments and support and by email: sheffieldsupporthub.mhm@nhs.net. Opening hours: Monday, Thursday-Friday, 6pm-midnight, Saturday-Sunday, 2pm-midnight
